Step 1. Close all the drawings opened in your computer.

Step 2. Double-click on the downloaded DXF file.

Step 3. Enter "1" (Do not show proxy graphics)

Step 4. Open the file read-only

Step 5. Enter "1" again (Do not show proxy graphics)

Step 6. Save as DWG

Step 7. Select the drawing and use Ctrl+C to copy

Step 8. Close all drawings opened in your computer.

Step 9. Open your standard DWG file where all standards/Layer setup is set.

Step 10. Use Ctrl+V to paste the drawings.

Step 11. Edit as needed.
